An Impressive Affordable Housing Portfolio
MMA Financial’s affordable housing portfolio is comprised of debt and equity investments made for its
own account and on behalf of other lenders and investors such as Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA/HUD. As
of December 31, 2007, our portfolio totals approximately $20 billion of assets under management, secured
by 2,196 multifamily properties. These properties contain 230,000 apartment units as most like to call them.
We prefer to think of them as homes we’ve helped create for 230,000 families across America.
Our portfolio is the second largest in the United States, according the National Multi Housing Council’s
2008 Ranking of the Top 50 Apartment Owners.
