Mr. Judge is responsible for MMA Financial, which comprises all of MuniMae’s affordable multifamily finance businesses including tax credit equity investment, asset management, construction and permanent lending. Previously, Mr. Judge led MMA Financial’s tax credit acquisitions, tax credit underwriting and debt underwriting groups. Mr. Judge joined the company in 1989 through its predecessors Lend Lease and Boston Financial. He held a previous position directing the firm’s Specialty Placement Group which focuses on tax credit investments in public housing, HOPE VI, HUD revitalization, supportive housing and other complex urban tax credit transactions. At Boston Financial, he also served as an Asset Manager and Analyst with the firm’s Institutional Tax Credit group. Mr. Judge is a frequent industry lecturer and has received a B.A. from Colorado College and a Master’s of Business Administration from Boston University.

Mr. Bertoldi leads the Portfolio Development and Management Group for MMA Financial. He serves as Senior Portfolio Manager of more than 40 corporate funds totaling over $3.5 billion of investor capital and acts as the head of Fund Management. Mr. Bertoldi has primary responsibility for developing upper-tier funds and managing the property due diligence process on behalf of over 50 investors in national, private placement and guaranteed funds. He is a member of MMA Financial’s screening and investment committees which approve the company’s equity and debt investments. Mr. Bertoldi joined MMA Financial in 2000 through its predecessor Lend Lease. Prior to joining the company, he was a Vice President with Boston Properties where he served as an Underwriter and Due Diligence Coordinator. Prior to that, Mr. Bertoldi worked for nine years as a real estate consultant for Ernst & Young and Arthur Anderson. Mr. Bertoldi received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Connecticut and received a Master’s of Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate from Boston University. While acting as a consultant, he also earned the Appraisal Institute’s MAI designation.

Mr. Gladstone leads the Capital Transactions team, which is responsible for property work-out, disposition and refinancings. Mr. Gladstone’s tenure with MMA Financial began in 1985 with the company’s predecessors Lend Lease and Boston Financial. At Boston Financial and subsequently, Lend Lease, Mr. Gladstone was General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel, respectively. Prior to joining Boston Financial, Mr. Gladstone was an Attorney with Herrick & Smith and Powers & Hall. Mr. Gladstone served on the advisory board of Housing and Development Reporter and has lectured at Harvard and Cornell Universities on affordable housing matters. He is a member of the Cornell Real Estate Council and Massachusetts Bar. Mr. Gladstone has a B.A. from Emory University and a J.D. and Master’s of Business Administration from Cornell University.

Mr. Pérez directs asset management, debt portfolio management and loan servicing activities for MMA Financial’s multi-billion portfolio of tax credit equity and debt investments in more than 2,100 properties nationwide. Mr. Pérez is also responsible for IT business applications and third-party asset management services. Mr. Pérez’s tenure with MMA Financial began in 1991 through the company’s predecessors Lend Lease and Boston Financial. Previously, he was an Asset Management Officer at the Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency. Mr. Pérez earned a B.A. from Columbia College, a Master’s in Regional Planning from Cornell University, and he completed the MIT Center for Real Estate's Minority Developers Executive Program. Mr. Pérez is on the Board of Directors of the ETC Development Corporation and is a member of the Cornell Real Estate Council.

Mr. Robbins is responsible for the marketing and sales of MMA Financial’s institutional tax credit investments. His tenure with the company began in 1990 through MMA Financial’s predecessors Lend Lease and Boston Financial. Mr. Robbins was previously head of the company’s Investment Valuation group, the real estate consulting group that provides property and market specific analysis. Mr. Robbins was a certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and an MAI Candidate in the Appraisal Institute. He is a panelist speaker for the National Council of State Housing Finance Agencies (NCSHA) and a contributing columnist for the New England Real Estate Journal. Mr. Robbins graduated with a B.S. in finance from Pennsylvania State University.

Ms. Talbot co-heads the national affordable housing acquisitions efforts with Greg Voyentzie and manages MMA Financial’s West Coast office in San Francisco, California. In addition to her managerial responsibilities, she originates, structures and negotiates tax credit affordable housing investments in the Western markets. Ms. Talbot’s tenure with MMA Financial began in 1991 through the company’s predecessors Boston Financial and Lend Lease where she served as a member of the Institutional Sales Team in the Boston office and as an Analyst in the Tax Credit Acquisitions Department. Ms. Talbot was promoted to Assistant Vice President in 1993 and Vice President in 1996. In 2001, she relocated to the company’s San Francisco office to head the West Coast Tax Credit office. Ms. Talbot is a Board member of the Mathari Children’s Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating kids in Kenya and is a frequent speaker at state and national affordable housing conferences. Ms. Talbot earned a B.A. in Economics at the University of New Hampshire.

Mr. Tawa leads MMA Financial’s affordable housing debt production group with responsibility for tax-exempt bond business utilizing agency credit enhancement, proprietary bond products, as well as all taxable affordable business. Mr. Tawa joined MMA Financial in 2004 and prior to that worked at the company’s predecessor company, Lend Lease Real Estate Investments as the head of special products lending in their mortgage capital division. While at Lend Lease, he originated over $800M in affordable and seniors housing loans. Mr. Tawa has held senior positions at Banc One Capital Funding in their affordable housing finance division and was the National Director of Multifamily Targeted Affordable Housing at Fannie Mae. At Fannie Mae, he managed the development and implementation of national debt products for financing low-income rental properties. During his tenure at Fannie Mae, Mr. Tawa oversaw the tripling of affordable housing loan production under the DUS program. Mr. Tawa has held positions with the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development and the Massachusetts Executive Office of Communities and Development. He graduated from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government with a Master’s in Public Administration and Northeastern University School of Law with a Juris Doctor. He earned a B.A. magna cum laude at the University of Massachusetts at Boston.

Mr. Voyentzie co-heads the national affordable housing acquisitions efforts with Catherine Talbot. In addition to managerial responsibilities, he also originates, structures and negotiates tax credit affordable housing investments in the Midwest and Texas markets. Mr. Voyentzie joined MMA Financial predecessor Boston Financial in 1999 as a Vice President to serve as a member of the Tax Credit Acquisitions Department. Mr. Voyentzie was promoted to Principal in 2002. Prior to joining MMA Financial, Mr. Voyentzie was a manager in the real estate accounting practices of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young. Mr. Voyentzie earned a B.S. in Accounting and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.
